What you see is a man alone

A man who has a heart of stone

I'm tough and rough and have seen it all

I am always there when you make the call

You wish daily that you won't see me

What good from this meeting could there be?

I'm mean and nasty and don't care about you

Why am I bothering you? What did you do?

The things that you say and the things that you do

I have to ignore and overlook too

I have a nice car and pretty blue lights

I patrol the streets day and night

This job is not all glitter and glam

and what you see of me is not who I am.
